The Pray, Fundamental Religious Act by Victor Lles, Xavi Padilla and Manu Ibarz

During this week, in Religion, we have learnt about the importance of praying. Here you are a piece of an essay that we have done during these days! Hope you like it!!

THE PRAY, A FUNDAMENTAL RELIGIOUS ACT

The Christians, call the people playing the bells or by some radio stations at midday and in the evening.

WHAT IS PRAYING?
In Latin, pray means speech. In the Religion Science, pray means prayer. It means saying words to God.  The definition is: Pray is lift the heart to God for worship him, praise him, to thank and ask for him that we can need.
WHY DO WE PRAY?
Religion in Latin “relegate” is a special relation enters the humans and God. In pray we express our dependence with god. Also, we express our gratitude with the property   that God give us.
The pray is the “expression of faith”. Moral commitment is for example: if you are going to commit an offense, you must clear the conscience.

SOURCES, LENGUAGES AND WAYS OF PRAYING
God’s Word, Church Liturgy and faith virtues, hope and charity are pray sources. We can express the pray in words, silent meditation, melodies, gestures, veneration…
The pray only arrives to God if we pray in his name.

THE POWER OF PRAYING

THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PRAYER
If we ask for something to God, he will give it to us. But he will not give it if:
·         We ask for it without humility and confidence.
·         We ask for things that we do not need.
